Amarillo Mobile Podiatry is caring for your foot health and comfort, in the comfort of your home. Dr. Brett Nielsen, DPM, specializes in minimally invasive solutions for common podiatric issues. We are a SELF PAY practice, which means we cannot accept any forms of insurance at this time. We do accept credit cards, debit cards, cash, Venmo, & hsa/fsa. We are open evenings and weekends to serve you better.

FAQ's
​Q: What services do you offer?
A: We offer podiatry services to treat the causes of foot, heel and ankle pain. Dr. Nielsen specializes in effectively treating ingrown toenails while preserving the appearance of the nail. He also treats plantar fasciitis, can create custom orthotics, and offers steroid injections.

Q: Do you take insurance?
A: At this time we do not take any form of insurance. We take most other forms of payment including cash, credit, Venmo, hsa/fsa, and Apple Pay. Patients are fully financially responsible for the services they receive at the time of service.

Q: What if I need to cancel my appointment?
A: Cancellations received 24 hours before the appointment will be fully refunded. Cancellations received within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations must be made via phone call. If you need to reschedule, please call us as soon as possible.

Q: My heel (ankle, toe, foot, etc.) hurts. Do I need to see a podiatrist?
A: Pain of the foot or ankle is never normal and can most likely be mitigated. If you are having pain, you should seek the care of a podiatrist to guide you to the right treatment for you.

Q: Where is your office?
A: We are a mobile podiatry practice based in Amarillo, TX and we serve the Amarillo, TX and Canyon, TX area. For the convenience of our patients, we come to you and treat you in the comfort of your home.

Q: How much do you charge?
A: Our prices are listed right on our website! Each visit is $100. Depending on the treatment you need, there are additional charges ranging from $120-$400.

Q: What are you hours?
We offer appointments Monday-Friday between the hours of 5:30pm and 9:00pm and Saturdays from 8am-12pm. You can call between the hours of 9am and 9pm to make an appointment.

Meet the Doctor
Dr. Nielsen is a foot and ankle specialist residing in the Amarillo, TX area. He grew up in Omaha, NE. After high school he served a 2 year religious mission in Mexico where served the people of Monterrey, Mexico and learned to speak spanish. He then attended and graduated from Utah Valley University with his undergraduate degree.

Dr. Nielsen received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine and then completed his surgical training in Tampa, FL. His practice focuses on relieving foot and ankle pain with minimally invasive, in-office procedures.
Dr. Nielsen is married to his wife of 13 years and is father of two girls. He loves to spend time with his family, serve in his church, and travel to as many theme parks as possible in his spare time.
